Honesty, Integrity and Value! Jon is the most patient, honest and dependable retaliator I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I became a loyal customer of Jon at Better Jewelers in 1996 when I realized I had found the love of my life, my soon to be wife. I wanted a special diamond for a special woman; something that was as beautiful inside as it was on the outside. Jon’s first question after greeting me in his shop was “what are you looking for today?” to which I a replied “A Princess Cut?” Jon smiled and took the time to teach me how to use his jewelers loop so he could explain and demonstrate the quality and characteristics of each diamond. After several hours of practice with the loop I settled my heart on a .5ct Princess Cut VSII, H in color. Surprisingly, Jon would not sell me the diamond at this point. It must have been obvious to him that the quality of the stone mattered more to me than the size and that I had no idea of what I was doing. Jon loaned me a spare jewelers loop, promised to hold the stone for me and insisted I go look at some of the shops to compare price and quality. After a week, I returned Jon’s loop and purchased his diamond. This experience taught me the importance of knowing your jeweler, trusting your jeweler, respecting the opinion of your jeweler and most importantly, sticking with your jeweler… Since 1996 Jon has sold me many pieces, repaired and reset some of my older pieces and just recently crafted a beautiful diamond laden two piece wedding set to give that first diamond a proper home.
